The new 2012 4Play Blueprint bodyboard incorporates 4Plays latest breakthrough in composite core technology - TFX (Thermo Flex). The TFX Core is 4plays newest innovative core using the CCT (Composite Core Technology) that 4Play pioneered in 2007. Since 07 we have refined and worked on the thermo molding process to offer the best combination cores on the market. The TFX is PP through the centre of the board offering rigidity and spring, whilst the 10cm along either side of the board is PE with a step down rail and full length channels. The PE step down rails sit nicely in the hand and offer the perfect flex under the elbows which is needed for high performance rail to rail surfing - Fish.

Core: TFX Core - (This core is a composite core with the sides of the board in PE for ultimate flex and cushioning. The centre of the core is high density PP adding rigidity to the board and keeping the board nice and flat for extra down the line speed.)
Stringer: Single Carbon Fibre Stringer (Designed to add longevity to a board by improving stiffness and recoil while also greatly increasing the ability for projection. The stringer also enhances performance and control.)
Deck: 8lb PE decking (A super comfortable decking material that is designed to allow your body to lock with your board. Also very durable.)
Slick: Surlyn Channelled Slick (Is your only choice for slick if you demand the greatest amount of response and durability. This high performance slick is the finest grade surlyn made only by dupont, featuring elastic-like qualities and superior projection)
Channels: Graduated Channels (Greatly enhance control and drive, ensuring the rider has maximum command over their board when bottom turning, trimming and transitioning from rail to rail.)
Tail: Clipped Two-Piece Crescent Tail (Provides superior control and hold on the wave face while also allowing for ease of rail to rail transitions and release from carves and spins.)
